FAA Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum

From the Fly Navy Federation

Dear All,

I would like to say a massive thank you on behalf of the Fly Navy Federation to everyone involved in the project to add a second row of plinths to the FAA Memorial at the NMA.  It has now been completed, and looks absolutely superb.

That includes all of the planning, funding, design, oversight, and then hard work by Natural Cut Stone to complete the work.  And thanks in particular to Alan Breward for overseeing the work on site over the past few weeks on behalf of the Federation.

As you may have seen from the link below sent by Alan, the second row of plinths fits in with the original design brilliantly.  It all looks as new, and will ensure many more decades of enjoyment, remembrance and commemoration for FAA-related visitors to the NMA.

It was a superb monument before this work, and now it has been given an extra lease of life and longevity.

Although these projects take time, the pictures are testament to the benefit of working together as a Federation:

All Of One Company

Regards,

Phil Carpenter
