THE FLEET AIR ARM MUSEUM & NAVY WINGS COMBINED DAY

RNAS Yeovilton
22Feb2024

Calling all historic aviation enthusiasts! Navy Wings have collaborated with the Fleet Air Arm (FAA)Museum to create an aviation filled day.

Your day will start at the FAA Museum where you will be met by your experienced and knowlegable tour guide. You will then enter the museum for your guided tour, learning all about the Fleet Air Arm and its iconic aircraft.

Lunch will be at midday in the FAA café which is situated within the museum, (please note this is not covered in your ticket cost, you are of course welcome to bring your own food). They have incredible cakes, sandwiches and soup on offer!

You will then be picked up from the museum car park and board the coach for the next half of your day at Navy Wings. Situated in the heart of RNAS Yeovilton, Navy Wings is generally not accessible to the public so this is a great chance to visit the heritage hangar and get up close to our historic aircraft.

You will meet with our chief engineer who will deliver an in depth engineering update which will highlight what it takes to keep our unique aircraft flying. You will then get to explore our hangar and meet our amazing engineering team who are happy to answer any of your questions.

You can visit our restoration area and see our on going projects of our Sea Hawk and our Swordfish LS326.
